Sofijin izbor is a  strong wine, fresh acids and grainy tannins that carry alcohol well. It originates from the best plots of the Pinot Noir variety in the Lastar winery and stands out for its rich aromas, dominated by fruity aromas and well-integrated oak with fine notes of coffee and spices. Fermentation is conducted with ambient yeasts located on the grape berry, which emphasizes the terroir and all the peculiarities of the Levač wine region. After a year of aging in French barrique barrels, the wine is prepared for bottling and does not undergo filtration precisely in order to preserve all the necessary components.
